Fixed-price analysis

Where is your business losing money without anyone noticing?

Supplier invoices paid twice. Hours that were never billed. The same part bought from three suppliers at three prices. Subscriptions nobody has used in two years. It is all in your data — just spread across five different systems and never side by side. I read them together once and put the amounts in front of you. €1,450 net, fixed, five working days. If I find nothing, you pay nothing.

Connecting your operational data

Your system records quotes, booked hours, material usage, and invoices. However, these data points often reside in separate databases, making comprehensive analysis difficult.

Connecting this data is complex due to inconsistent references, partial deliveries, and delayed bookings. Standard reporting tools often fail here, preventing accurate project-level costing.

As a result, systemic issues—such as specific job types that consistently miss margin targets—remain undetected.

What we analyze

I check every area your data supports. Which ones those are goes into the written offer after the free initial assessment — before you pay anything. A retailer gets different analyses than a workshop; the questions follow your data, not a template.

Duplicate and erroneous payments

The same supplier invoice paid twice, credit notes never deducted, payments with no matching invoice. Applies to every business, whatever the sector.

Purchasing: same item, three prices

Price differences for identical items across suppliers and over time, plus purchases made outside existing framework agreements.

Customers: who actually contributes

What is left of a customer after discounts, returns, rework, order frequency and payment behaviour — not revenue, but what you keep.

Receivables: money sitting outside

Open items by age and customer, repeat late payers, and how much liquidity is permanently tied up.

Recurring contracts and subscriptions

Recurring charges nobody can account for, licences for people who have left, contracts renewed by default.

Jobs: quoted versus actual

Where hours and materials are booked against jobs: which job types systematically miss their quote — grouped by type and by whoever quoted them.

Products: net margin

What remains of the margin after discounts, returns and freight, per item and item group.

Quotes: win rate and discounts

Win rates by size and type, and whether discounting actually raises the win rate or only lowers the margin.

Project Phases

  1. 01

    Initial assessment — €0

Twenty minutes on the phone, then one export from your system. I spend three quarters of an hour in it and tell you whether the data is workable — with one concrete finding from your own business. No cost, no obligation.

  2. 02

Data check — €1,450 net, fixed

Five working days from receipt of the data. No hourly billing, no change orders. Every figure in the report traces back to the rows of your export, so you can verify it in your own system. If I find nothing, I don't invoice.

  3. 03

    Results review

One hour through the numbers together. You know the reasons behind them and I don't — that conversation is where a finding turns into a decision.

  4. 04

Optional: monthly instead of once — €290/month

The same analysis, automatically, every month, cancellable monthly. You export, a two-page report comes back.

The value of an external perspective

Operational analysis often falls into a gap between accounting, IT, and sales departments.

An external consultant can objectively highlight unprofitable accounts or underquoted jobs without navigating internal departmental conflicts.

We bring specialized expertise in processing messy, real-world data pipelines, allowing us to connect disparate systems that standard tools cannot handle.

Requirements

We can work with standard exports in almost any condition.

  • An export of invoice lines or job records (ideally covering two years).
  • For job analysis: booked hours and material costs associated with jobs.
  • For purchasing analysis: order history including article numbers, suppliers, quantities, and prices.
  • An estimated fully-loaded internal hourly rate.
  • A one-hour consultation with a team member who understands your operational data.

We can process CSV, Excel, or direct database dumps. The only limitation is if critical information was never recorded in the first place.

Scope Limitations

We provide data-driven insights; the final business decisions remain with your team.

We cannot analyze data that was never recorded in your systems.

Our analysis focuses on historical performance and does not provide future forecasting.

If your current processes are already highly optimized, our report will honestly reflect that.

Twenty minutes, and we both know more

Tell me in two sentences what you write your invoices in and whether hours are booked against jobs. That alone tells me whether an analysis is possible — and I'll say no if it isn't. I don't need a data export until after we've spoken.
